Need some ideas?

The following types of articles would be great additions to Chew News!

  • As this is a Food News site, we would love your opinions on trending food news, food activism, cool new gadgets and anything you feel are important in the culinary world.  Part of the reason this site was created was to give a venue to people (like myself) who have a niche website but have so much more to say!  Bring it!
  • We love infographics.  Visuals make us happy.  Please give us your opinion on the study… is it valid or complete BS
  • We want to expand the boundaries.  Maybe stay away from the “Fast Food restaurant ABC opens in a new location” type drivel you see on many sites.  That’s just boring and makes me want to die a little.
  • Food Art!  We support galleries.

Recipes

RECIPE LISTS:  Yes please.  Again, this is a trend site.  So have a look around and see what’s trending.  If you need some sources, check the “What’s cooking: Recipes” section of this site, or ask me and I’ll give you a few great places to go.  Compile a list of 3-5 of your favorite recipes for a dish.  Images and short descriptions of why you like this particular recipe would be great.  Here’s the best part.  Shamelessly promote your own!  Either add the full recipe or a tasty description and link to your site.  Here’s an example:  Stuffing.  One may be made with sausage, another with cranberry, the third, to be stuffed inside ToFuTurkey…  Then explain why your family eats your grandma’s recipe, packed with bacon.  Now the reader wins, as they have some popular sources for a recipe plus a personal recommendation from you about why yours s the best!

SINGLE RECIPES: Even Better!  You’ll get your recipe shared through all of our connections and newsletters.

We’re always happy to hear your suggestions, so let us know what you’d like to do!
